“On stage, in the studio, or in a lesson, the goal never changes: to say through music what words cannot, and to send the listener home with something true.”Patis Intaramaha
The path
His foundation was built across four countries. Patis studied with Omiros Yavroumis and Dr. Yavet Boyadjiev at Mahidol University, with Peter Schuhmayer in Vienna, and with Prof. Alexander Sitkovetsky in Zürich, where he also took a jazz violin minor with Rainer Hagmann, and now works under Prof. Julia Bushkova and Scott Tixier in Texas. Early in his career he was co-concertmaster of the Siam Sinfonietta. Along the way he has won Gold at the Sugree Charoensook International Music Competition and reached the semi-finals of the Triomphe de l’Art in Brussels, and refined his artistry in masterclasses and lessons with Christoph Poppen, Ilya Gringolts, Pavel Vernikov, Jack Liebeck, and Rainer Schmidt.
As a performer he has appeared in the Grosser Saal of the Tonhalle Zürich and Geneva’s Victoria Hall, played alongside the Carmina Quartett, and led Studio 28 Orchestra as concertmaster on recordings and at a private gala in Mumbai. He has performed as guest first violin with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra and toured Europe with the Siam Sinfonietta. In the studio, his recent credits include violin on Mariah Carey’s “Nothing Is Impossible,” keyboard and instrumentation on TIMETHAI’s “ONE THING,” and work as music arranger for Coca-Cola Thailand, alongside sessions with UNT’s Jazz Strings Lab.
