Patis Intaramaha is a dynamic violinist, keyboardist, and recording artist who seamlessly bridges the classical and commercial music worlds. Currently a member of the Bancroft Quartet, Patis maintains an active performance schedule while remaining a highly sought-after session musician. As a recording artist, he frequently works with numerous Thai artists and producers contributing as both an arranger and collaborative performer. His musical journey began at age four on the piano—achieving early competitive success—before discovering his profound passion for the violin at age thirteen.
Born in Bangkok in 1998, Patis has built a robust international performing profile supported by world-class training. He holds a Master of Arts in Music Performance and attended the Violin Soloist Diploma program (with a minor in Conducting) at the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) under Prof. Alexander Sitkovetsky. This followed his studies at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW) and his First-Class Honors degree from the College of Music, Mahidol University. Early in his career, he served as co-concertmaster of the Siam Sinfonietta, and his artistry has since been refined through masterclasses with distinguished figures such as Christoph Poppen, Ilya Gringolts, Jack Liebeck, and Pavel Vernikov.
Currently, Patis is pursuing his Doctor of Musical Arts in Violin Performance, with a minor in Jazz, at the University of North Texas (UNT). By integrating his classical foundation with his background in jazz and conducting, he brings a well-rounded and innovative perspective to all his musical endeavors. Alongside his performance career, Patis is a dedicated educator serving as a Teaching Assistant to Professor Julia Bushkova at UNT. He takes immense pride in nurturing the next generation of musicians, with his students achieving remarkable milestones such as acceptance into prestigious institutions like the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (Austria) and Saint Petersburg State University (Russia).
