Patis Intaramaha
Violinist · Keyboardist · Recording Artist

A violinist, keyboardist, and recording artist who seamlessly bridges the classical and commercial music worlds, from chamber stages with the Bancroft Quartet to the recording sessions of Thailand’s leading artists.
Born in Bangkok in 1998, he began at the piano at four and found the violin at thirteen, going on to train across Thailand, Vienna, and Zürich before his current doctoral studies in Texas.

The path
His foundation was built across four countries. Patis studied with Omiros Yavroumis and Dr. Yavet Boyadjiev at Mahidol University, with Peter Schuhmayer in Vienna, and with Prof. Alexander Sitkovetsky in Zürich, and now works under Prof. Julia Bushkova in Texas. Early in his career he was co-concertmaster of the Siam Sinfonietta and concertmaster of Studio 28 Orchestra. Along the way he has won Gold at the Sugree Charoensook International Music Competition and reached the semi-finals of the Triomphe de l’Art in Brussels, and refined his artistry in masterclasses and lessons with Christoph Poppen, Ilya Gringolts, Pavel Vernikov, Jack Liebeck, and Rainer Schmidt.
As a performer he has appeared in the Grosser Saal of the Tonhalle Zürich and Geneva’s Victoria Hall, played alongside the Carmina Quartett, and led Studio 28 Orchestra as concertmaster at a private gala in Mumbai. He has performed as guest first violin with the Thailand Philharmonic Orchestra and toured Europe with the Siam Sinfonietta.

His students have gone on to earn places at conservatories abroad, among them the University of Music and Performing Arts in Graz and Saint Petersburg State University, and to take prizes at national competitions at home.

Beyond the concert hall, Patis is a sought-after presence in the studio for many of Thailand’s leading artists and producers, working as an arranger and multi-instrumentalist.
